In 1987, the Delhi administration founded Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies with assistance from the Ministry of Human Resources and UGC. It was previously known as College of Business Studies. It is the first college that adopted the method of semester system in Delhi University.

What’s New in SSCBS?
• Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies admission 2023 is ongoing. Delhi University released the PG fifth merit/admission list on December 26, 2023. Candidates can check the department and course-wise merit list on Delhi University’s official website - admission.uod.ac.in. The last date to apply against the 5th admission list is December 28, and the fee payment window will close on December 30. The last date of admission to UG & PG courses is December 31, 2023.
• CUET 2023 exam dates have been announced by NTA. CUET UG 2023 exam will be conducted between May 21 and May 31, 2023.
Shaheed Sukhdev College is affiliated to the Delhi University (DU) and offers higher education under the faculty of Management Studies and Computer Science department. The college offers UG, PG courses under the streams of Management, Science and Computer Applications in various specializations. SSCBS offers UG & PG Diploma programs in multiple domains. SSCBS accepts Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for admission to UG programs. The final selection will be made by the e-counseling process conducted by DU & marks obtained in the CUET. Candidates applying for SSCBS UG program must register on the NTA website succeeding that students are required to register on the DU admission portal for Centralised e-counseling. The final selection includes a Personal Interview process conducted by the respective department.
SSCBS offers admission to the PG Diploma program in Cyber Security & Law based on merit in the last qualifying examination.

• Pre Matric Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to the SC students who have scored more than 50% marks upto class 10 and annual income of the family should be less than 1 lakh per annum.
• Post Matric Scholarship: This scholarship is mainly for SC students who have scored more than 50% marks and the annual family income should be less than 2 lakhs per annum.
• Udaan Scholarship: This is awarded to the topper of the B.Sc.(H) Computer Science with family income less than 3 lakhs per annum.

• Library: The college has a library well equipped with a requisite collection of books. There is a reading room which has the seating capacity of 218 persons. A total number of 23,231 books are there in the stock. The library has the subscriptions of 60 national and international magazines & journals along with 14 national & business newspapers. • Incubation Centre: The incubation centre provides the students with entrepreneurship knowledge and how to lead the social and economic development of the community as well as the country. SSCBS has set up an incubation centre to work with SIIF and Yuva so that they can work with and can bring up the best professional upcoming entrepreneurs.
