If you are getting private colleges in both of the universities, then there is no point of comparison as both will be essentially the same. For a good job after your studies, you need to concentrate on the training you will receive between your studies. Also, you will have to practice programming languages very thoroughly. If you can get a percentage of 70% - 75%, then getting a job won’t be a problem in either of the universities. If you want to stay outside to become independent, then sure you can join any college which is a little farther from your home.

If you want to choose a college based on placements, then go for GNDU as the placement opportunities available here are very good. If you are getting a seat in the main campus of GNDU, then go for it without any doubts. But there are some colleges too under PTU, which have decent placements. The course you choose is as important as selecting a college. There are some courses where PTU is better but there are some courses too where GNDU takes the lead. If you want to choose branches such as mechanical, civil, electrical then you should probably go for PTU. But if you want to opt for courses like CSE or Electronics choosing GNDU will be better. Ans. PTU B.Tech counseling 2022 (on the basis of JEE Main ranks) will tentatively start from the second week of September . The counseling will be done in two rounds. The first round will start around the second week of September. Results of this round should be declared by the third week. 2nd round of counseling will start in the 4th week of September (tentatively). The seat allocation for this round will be done around the first week of October.

Transcripts are available for collection after 30 days. There is no requirement for attestation of transcripts. Place an order for single-page transcripts revealing your grades. Punjab Technical University Facilities
The University offers the following facilities to cater to the needs of the students as well as faculty members:
Central Library: The three floored library is inter connected, centrally air conditioned, with a seating capacity of more than 500 readers at a time and is well connected and easily approachable from all the departments of the university. The library’s independent building is also near completion and by the year 2017 the library would shift into its independent building.
Computer Centre: The University has a well-equipped, fully air-conditioned Computer Laboratory with leased line Internet facility, Wi-Fi campus, and convenient printing and scanning resources.
Auditorium: The University has two well equipped air-conditioned seminar halls fitted with multimedia projectors and audio-visual systems, having a seating capacity of 150 and 100. A University auditorium with seating capacity of 800 is under construction.
Hostel Accommodation: The University provides accommodation to students studying in different departments at the university campus. Residences (Boys’ Hostel, Girls’ Hostel 01 & Girls’ Hostel 02) located at its main campus are within walking distance from the academic wing. There are 76 rooms in each Girl’s hostel having intake capacity of 94 students and there are 144 rooms in Boy’s hostel having intake capacity of 288 students.
