The district administration will call a meeting of the school vans owners and the Sahodaya Group of CBSE schools in the coming week to discuss issues related to school vans and installing speed governors.
Deputy commissioner Urmila Shukla told TOI, "The pending issues related to school vans and the installation of speed governors would be taken up this week."
After orders from the district administration, the RTO cancelled the licence of around 250 school van owners. According to sources, none of the school buses has installed speed governors as per the guidelines of the Supreme Court.
The school van owners have threatened to go on a strike from Wednesday.
