New Delhi, May 13, 2025 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 12 board examination results for the academic year 2025, bringing relief and excitement to over 16 lakh students across India. The results, announced today at 11:30 AM IST, reflect a pass percentage of 88.39%, marking a slight increase of 0.41% compared to the previous year’s 87.98%. Girls have once again outperformed boys, securing a pass percentage of over 91%, surpassing their male counterparts by 5.94 percentage points.

No Toppers List: Continuing its policy to curb unhealthy competition, CBSE did not release a merit list or toppers’ names for the 2025 results.

Grace Marks: Students falling short by one or two marks in theory or practical exams may be awarded grace marks to pass, as per CBSE’s policy.

How to Access CBSE Class 12 Results 2025

DigiLocker: Students can download digital mark sheets and passing certificates via cbse.digitallocker.gov.in by logging in with their roll number, school code, and date of birth. CBSE has also sent DigiLocker login credentials via SMS to registered mobile numbers.

UMANG App: The government-backed UMANG app allows students to access results securely by entering their roll number and other required credentials.

SMS Service: Students can check their results by sending a text message in the format cbse12 to 7738299899.

Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS): By dialing 24300699 (with the appropriate area code), students can access their results via IVRS.
