The Kerala High Court on Monday directed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to conduct a re-exam of Class 10 maths paper for a girl student. She complained that she was given a two-year-old question paper.

A petition filed by Amiya Salim, a student of Mount Carmel School in Kottayam.

The court issued the order on a petition filed by Ameeya Saleem, seeking a directive to the CBSE to prompt action on the issue. It directed the CBSE to retest for her before the completion of the paper evaluation process.

The petitioner submitted that though she had filed a complaint before the authorities concerned, no action was taken.
