JEE Mains, NEET 2020 Exams Dates Announced

Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced the dates for JEE Main and NEET exams while interacting with students online on Tuesday.

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main will be held from July 18 to July 23 while JEE-Advanced will be held in August. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be conducted on July 26.

The JEE exam is conducted for admission to engineering colleges across the country, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is for admission to medical colleges.

This year, more than 15 lakh students across the country have registered for NEET, whereas more than 9 lakh students have registered for JEE Mains.

The exams were postponed due to the nationwide lockdown announced to contain the covid-19 coronavirus disease spread.

The HRD Minister assured students that now that they know the new JEE and NEET exam date, they can continue the preparation for the undergraduate engineering entrance exam and medical entrance test with a clear mind.
