Indian Army Invites Applications From JEE Mains Qualifiers, 90 Vacancies Up For Grabs

The Indian Army has invited applications from unmarried male and female candidates who have qualified for the JEE Mains 2023 examination for the grant of permanent commission in the Army.

A total of 90 vacancies are available under the Technical Entry Scheme (TES-51) for the courses commencing in January 2025.

Candidates must be between 16½ and 19½ years of age on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from recognized education boards.

Candidates must have appeared for the JEE Mains 2023 examination.

The selection process will consist of the following stages:


  • Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their JEE (Mains) 2023 score.

  • Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an SSB interview.

  • Medical Examination: Candidates who are recommended by the SSB will be required to undergo a medical examination.
