Google ties up with CBSE for Exam Related Information on Search

Tech giant Google on Monday partnered with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to allow students to check their results and other exam-related information easier on Search engine.

Starting with the JEE Main exam results, the CBSE made public on Monday, students can now check quickly their score in various exams on their smartphone or desktop using Google Search.

In a statement, Rama Sharma, Senior Public Relations Officer, CBSE said that "We are collaborating with Google for smooth dissemination of results through an easy and secure platform".

Google has worked closely with CBSE to "ensure that the data is handled securely and used solely for the purpose of showing the results on Google Search page.

Google Search Product Manager Shilpa Agrawal said that "With over 260 million students enrolled in more than 1.5 million schools across India, Google believes having reliable, seamless, and safe access to education-related information is crucial.

Google has also introduced an improved Search experience for exams like GATE, SSC CGL, CAT and students can also find for important information such as test dates, registration dates, important links and other key information right within Google Search.
