CBSE will start new course on Transport Systems and Logistic Management

Transportation and Logistics have been assuming importance with rise of private industry and trade and has accelerated since we adopted new economic policies since 1991.

They are essential for the expansion of opportunities and play an important role in defining competitive advantage.

Understanding the growing need for skilled professionals in this field, Vocational Education Cell, CBSE has launched a new course � Transport Systems and Logistic Management.

This course intends to introduce students to the world of transport management. The curriculum aims to skill students in understanding and utilizing measurable criteria to evaluate how well the multimodal transportation system operates.

Understanding the requirement of training for teachers, CBSE in collaboration with Transport Corporation of India (TCI) and Project Management Institute (PMI) is conducting one day orientation programme in Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh for all affiliated schools.

Orientation programme �PGT- Economics/Commerce on Feb 15 at 0:30am in Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam.

Transport Systems and Logistic Management is offered as two paper package, which can be taken along with any combination of subjects. The schools are requested to kindly nominate and register two teachers from your school for the orientation programme. No TA/DA will be given to the participants.
