CBSE Will Conduct Pending Class 10 & 12 Board Exams 2020 After Lockdown

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have said that the remaining class 10 and 12 exams will be conducted by the board only for the main subjects only after analysing the situation when the Covid-19 lockdown would end. CBSE denies all speculations about class 10 and 12 board exams getting cancelled.

CBSE tweeted, "Recently there has been a lot of speculation regarding 10th CBSE Board exams. It is reiterated that the boards decision to take board exams for 29 subjects of class 10 and 12, stands the same as mentioned in circular dated April 1, 2020."

"It is once again clarified that adequate time of 10 days will be given to all stakeholders before starting the examination. Therefore, there is no change in the position of holding board examinations and the position continues as per information given vide Press Release dated April 1, 2020" stated in a notice.

According to notification, "It is also informed that examinations of all subjects of Class 10 and 12 as mentioned in Press Release will be conducted after assessing the situation after the lockdown is over".
