CBSE topper Sarthak Agarwal study Economics at SRCC

CBSE topper Sarthak Agarwal, who secured 99.6 per cent marks in Class 12th board exams this year, has won a seat for himself in BA Economics (Honours) at Delhi University’s Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC).

SRCC’s first-cut off list for BA Hons in Economics stood at 97.25 per cent to 98.25 per cent for candidates belonging to the general category. For those belonging to the OBC category, the cut-off reached between 95.5 per cent and 96.5 per cent for the SC category. It reached between 94.25 per cent and 95.25 per cen, for ST category.

Sarthak, a student of Science stream, was eligible for admission not just in SRCC but also in St Stephen’s College. The SRCC cut -off for Economics Honours for Commerce students was 98.25 per cent, whereas for Science and Humanities, it was 97.25 per cent.

Sarthak aims to get through the civil services exam after completing his graduation.

Sarthak was a student of Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj.
