CBSE to Compensate 2 Marks for Typo Error in Class 10 English Paper

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to compensate two marks for a typing error in the English question paper. Class 10 English paper was held on March 12.

The English question papers had certain misprint or typo error in a comprehension passage section.

’The typing error has been noticed and it has been Board’s policy to not let students face any disadvantage. The marking scheme has been decided in interest of students and all those who appeared for the particular question will be awarded two marks,’ a senior CBSE official said.

This year Class X and XII board examinations began on March 5 and will conclude by April 25.

The result of Class 10 Board exam 2018 is expected to release in the last week of May.
