CBSE organised National Science Exhibition on "Science & Society"

To showcase the talent of 524 students from 262 schools across India and overseashas CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has organised the 10th National Science Exhibition on the theme of "Science & Society".

The participants present exhibits on various integrals of society namely, Industry; Natural resources and their conservation; Transport and communication, Information and education technology, Community health & environment and Mathematical modelling.

Twenty-four best exhibits were selected as winners comprising of schools including Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nal Campus, Karnataka; DPS Vasant Kunj, New Delhi; La Montessori School, Kullu, Himanchal Pradesh; Sri Kumaran Children’s Home Eng School, Bangalore, Karnataka.

The CBSE rewarded the chosen exhibits with a cash prize of Rs 3,000 each and a certificate of Merit. On selection by NCERT, the exhibits will also get a chance to participate in the Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition, which will be organised in Sikkim during November.
