CBSE Online registration for Class IX, XI for 2013-14

August 14, 2013, 12:00 am

The online registration of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for Class IX and XI students for academic session 2013-14 will commence on August 16, according to a circular issued by CBSE controller of examination M C Sharma.

The schools need to register on the CBSE website by using previous year’s affiliation number as user ID for making online submissions and click the link ’Online Registration of Class IX/XI for 2013-14’ on the website www.cbse.nic.in.

The fee for online registration is Rs 200 per student before September 15, after which the board would charge late fee from the students.

CBSE Patna officials said the online registration was introduced by the board a few years ago in a bid to optimum accuracy and timely receipt of data pertaining to registration of students by their respective schools.

The board advised each school to ensure the correctness of the subjects chosen by the students and the subjects being taught in the school because variations between the two had earlier been noticed. "The data uploaded for each candidate should be accurate in all respects," reads the circular.

A manual of ’instructions and procedure for online submission of details of students for registrations’ is available on the website to facilitate online registration.
