CBSE National Roller Skating Championship

500 skaters from across India are taking part in the 7th CBSE National Roller Skating Championship which began today at Kailash Bahl DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 7 .

The tournament was inaugurated by Ashok Ganguly, Chairman, CBSE, New Delhi.

Also present at the occasion were Phool Chand Maulana, Education, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister and Sheetal Sharma, Director Public School, DAV CMC, Delhi.

Skaters in different age groups will be participating in various events like rink-1, rink-2 and road race events.

Results:

Rink race-1 (Quad): Boys: Under-8: 1 Ankit Rana (Dyal Singh Public School, Karnal); 2 PVS.Ajay (Doon Public School, New Delhi); 3 Saksham Choudhary (Bal Bharati Public School, Ghaziabad).

U-10: 1 Raghav Sachdeva (DPS, New Delhi); 2 Gaurav Thakur (Emerald Heights International School, Indore); 3 Siddarth Choudhary (Bal Bharati).

U-12: 1 Ankit Wadhwa (Hansraj Model School, New Delhi); 2 K.Hariharan (Bala Vidya Mandir, Chennai); 3 Viney Dembla (St Theresa’s Convent, Karnal).

U-14: I: 1 Yudhvir Mann (Dyal Singh); 2 Dhanajay Charak (Maharaja Harisingh Agricultural Collegiate School, Dumana); 3 G Manoj (Ashram Public School, Kakinada); II: 1 Akshay Kapoor (St Theresa’s Convent); 2 Yogesh Verma (Hansraj Model School); 3 Varun Chauhan (Modern Vidya Niketan School, Faridabad).

U-16: 1 Rajat Sethi (R S Public School, Karnal) 2 Gulrajan Singh (DAV Public School, Chandigarh) 3 Teh Sunn Liu (Guru Nanak English Senior Secondary School, Bhilai).
