CBSE Introduced New Exam Pattern For Class 10 Maths, English Board Papers

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) plans to introduce cetrain changes in class 10 examination pattern. The new exam pattern will be two-level exams for class 10 mathematics and English papers from 2020 onwards.

This internal exam will carry 20 marks only and the marks will be awarded in the school-based assessment. The common CBSE written exam will be of 80 marks instead of 100 marks.

Those students who want to appear in the board exam, will have to clear the school-based exams first.

The Class 10 students will have a option to choose the difficulty level of their Maths board exam 2020. Those who opt for an easier version of maths exam in class 10 board exam, could not take mathematics as a major subject in higher studies. The students, who want to study Maths in their higher studies, should not take easier version in the class 10th board exam.
