The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for registration for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024. Candidates who have not yet applied can now register at ctet.nic.in until November 27, 2023.
The CTET is a national level teacher eligibility test conducted by the CBSE twice a year. The test is mandatory for those who wish to be appointed as teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in government and private schools across India.
The CTET 2024 is scheduled to be held in January 2024. The application process for the exam began on November 3, 2023. The original deadline to submit the application form was today, November 23, 2023. However, the CBSE has decided to extend the deadline to accommodate candidates who have not yet applied.
CBSE CTET 2024: Here’s How To Apply
Step 1: Go to the official website ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link ’Apply for CTET Jan 2024’ on the homepage
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen
Step 4: Now candidates will have to register themselves
Step 5: Fill out the application fee and pay the required application fee
Step 6: Click on the submit button
Note: Download the CBSE CTET 2024 registration confirmation page and take a print out for future reference.
