CBSE Class 10 Exam results to be announced in May

The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted the CBSE Class 10th Exam 2014 from 01 March to 19 March 2014, and the result of which is likely to be declared in the second half of May 2014, if follow the previous years� exam schedules.
Results would also be available and accessed at JagranJosh�s Page for CBSE Class 10th Result 2014.
Students appeared in CBSE Class 10 Exams 2014 would be able to check their results on the CBSE�s website: www.cbse.nic.in or they can get the results through telephone an SMS services as being arranged by the CBSE every year. For this, the Board receives helping hand from National Informatics Center, department of information technology, Ministry of communication and Information technology, Govt of India to provide instant and error free excess of the result.

Reportedly, a huge number of students appeared in CBSE class 10 examinations this year. According to officials of CBSE, a total of 13, 25,627 students applied for the Class 10 exam, which is an increase of 5.5 per cent from the 12.59 lakh students attempted in 2013. Among that, 7.29 lakh students appeared for the school-based exams, whereas around 5.96 lakhs students sat in the external Board exams.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. The CBSE conducts final examinations for Classes 10 and 12 for the schools affiliated to it.
Besides conducting secondary and senior secondary examinations, it also conducts annually the All India Engineering Entrance Examinations and All India Pre-Medical Test for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture and medical colleges, respectively.
CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India.
