The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced re-examination of the Class 12 Economics paper and Class 10 maths.
The Class 12 Economics re-exam will be held on held on 25 April, while the Class 10 maths re-exam, if needed, will be held in Delhi and Haryana only in July, sail by Mr. Anil Swarup, secretary in the Union human resource development (HRD) ministry’s department of school education and literacy.
“There has been no leak outside India, hence no re-examination will be held outside the country,” Mr. Swarup said. The question papers are different for students appearing for the CBSE examinations outside India.
An inquiry into the leak was ongoing at two levels first, by the police and the second, an intra-departmental probe.
The decision was taken in the interest of the children, Mr. Swarup said.
