Aadhaar is not mandatory for NEET Exam 2018

The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the CBSE not to make Aadhaar mandatory for NEET registration and other all-India exams. The court said that candidates can use passport, ration card, driving license, voter ID or bank account as proof of identity in National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) or any other all-India examinations. The deadline to register for NEET is March 9. CBSE will conduct NEET-UG Exam 2018 on 6 May 2018.
