Participation in KWHS Global Investment Management Competition


CBSE and NSE Academy are running a Joint certificate programme in Financial Market Management (FMM) from class IX to XII to enhance the financial skill of the students and also to motivate them to pursue career in Financial Market. In order to showcase investment skills of students, Wharton High School, University of Pennsylvania, USA and NSE Academy are organising the KWHS Global Investment Management Competition for the students (preferably studying Financial Markets Management / Commerce subjects).

The regional finale for 10 countries including India will be held at NSE Headquarters, Mumbai in February 2019 which will be followed by grand finale in May 2019 at USA. Monetary rewards @ $5,000/-, $2,000/- and $1,000/- were given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd Global winners of last year.

Each team of 4-7 students needs to manage a portfolio of $100,000 in virtual cash over the course of 10 weeks using Wharton’s online Trading and Investment Simulator (OTIS). After completion of 10 weeks, each team is required to submit final report and presentation for Regional Competition.

Therefore, schools may send one or more teams and register online before 16th September 2018, if interested.
