Job Description:

Pledge Harbor International School, the first and only IB accredited boarding school of Bangladesh is looking for faculty in different subjects.

Location:
Singer Dighi, Mawna, Gazipur, Bangladesh

Subjects:
1. English Language Teacher for Higher School
2. Biology & ESS Teacher
3. Economics Lecturer for Higher School

Job Description / Responsibility:
Must implement effective IBDP Teaching Strategies, Methodologies and Pedagogies.
Playing a role model as a mentor.
House tutoring the students.
Keeping record of all academic progress of your given set of students.
Participate in the curriculum revision process.
Participate in personal and professional growth.
Participate in positive team planning, including work with specialist teachers.
Participation in community service project.
Participate in coaching, outdoor education trips, school-wide events, and/or extracurricular activities.
Sharing instructional resources with the peers actively.
Use the IB curriculum to ensure consistency in implementation throughout the school.
Training teaching assistants and housemasters the methodologies and pedagogy of the subject, lesson plans (short term and long term) etc.
Mentoring students as role models
Most importantly, teacher should be responsible for students overall improvement in academics and in other extracurricular actives.

Educational Requirements:
MUST have minimum Bachelors Degree / B.Ed from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements
At least 5 years.

Additional Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years working experience in the international schools, IB will be preferred.
Experience in CAS & EE
Experience in TOK is a must
