Requirement for PRT Art Teacher

Job Description:

Knowledge of art history and different art genres in order to teach a range of art styles.
Ability to communicate concrete and abstract concepts to students.
Ability to spot and cultivate creativity.
Undertake general teaching tasks.
set up and maintain facilities such as photographic darkrooms, kilns for ceramic work and studios .
Order and maintain art resources and materials within the budget allowance.
Demonstrate the use of art materials and tools such as oils, watercolours, palettes and palette knives,
brushes, pens, pencils, dyes, clay, fabric, canvas and paper

Inspire students and assist them to develop their creativity and self-expression through various art forms.

Arrange for exhibitions of student work in and out of school.

Plan activities using a variety of materials and equipment to develop good coordination, social skills,
creativity, self-expression and an interest in learning
