MAHE admits candidates under Indian / Domestic (General) or Foreign / NRI category (International), on fulfilling the eligibility requirements. All admissions are on the basis of merit.

Candidates have to pass with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent.

Candidates have to pass with a Bachelor's degree in Home Science / Nutrition / Dietetics / Food Science / Biology / Microbiology / Clinical Biochemistry / Life Sciences / Sports & Exercise Science / BNYS (Naturopathy) / BAMS (Ayurveda) / BUMS (Unani) / BHMS (Homeopathy) / MBBS / PG Diploma in Dietetics (after Bachelor Degree) and, other Health Science and Allied Health Science courses, with any of these subjects as majors, from a recognized University, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent.
