Job Description:

English literature teachers use a range of course books and materials, plus a variety of audiovisual aids. There\'s a strong emphasis on dialogue and role-playing, but more formal exercises, language games and literature are also used.
Typical role and responsibilities.
classroom management;
preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises;
marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work;
devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual resources;
Organizing and getting involved in social and cultural activities.
attending and contributing to training sessions;
freelance teaching on a one-to-one basis;
Basic administration, such as keeping student registers and attendance records.
teaching all areas of the curriculum;
taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils;
organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment;
motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
maintaining discipline;
preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development;
meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils\' development;
providing feedback to parents and careers on a pupil\'s progress at parents\' evenings and other meetings;
working with others to plan and coordinate work;
organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening;
