Job Description:

1. Preparing L/C Applications, its Amendments & follow-up with bank for establishing L/Cs & forwarding it to Import Dept.

2. Preparing Trust Letter & releasing the documents.
3. Preparing MIS (statements for import due, L/C outstanding, Finance Cost).
4. Calling Offer letter from foreign bank for funding of sight L/C.
5. Sending ECB application to Authorized dealer for funding.
6. Follow-up with our bank for sending messages for funding.
7. Releasing sight L/C documents after funding.
8. Follow-up with Import Department for Bill of Entry & submission of the same to bank.
9. Calling up bank for rates for L/C payment & taking rates for the same.
10. Follow-up with bank for statements & advices.
11. Correspondence with banks relating import & export.
12. Co-ordination with Export Department for Export Orders.
13. Preparing Packing Credit (Pre-shipment) application & sending to Bank for availing PC & PCFC.

14. Bill Purchase/ Discounting with Foreign Documents under Rupee Discount and Under (EBRD) i.e. Purchase/Discounting with Foreign Currency.

15. Follow-up with Bank for Remittances.
16. Keeping track of balances (Dr/Cr) with bank & adjusting the drawing power
17. Taking rates for collection of documents (Export) at the time of remittance from bank (Dealer) & informing to bankers.

18. Follow up with bank for remittance advices, pre-shipment & post-shipment advice, and punching in ERP.

19. Follow up with banks for FIRC i.e. Foreign Inward Remittance Certificate & same to the submitting the bank (i.e. Authorized Dealers) for G.R. Release to RBI.
20. Bank Reconciliation of CC, PC & PSC statement.
