CBSE Exempts Board Examination Fees For The Students Who Have Lost Their Parents Due to COVID

CBSE has decided to exempt examination fee or registration fees of students who lost parents due to Covid.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the country adversely and keeping in view of its impact on students, CBSE, as a special measure for Academic Session 2021-22, has decided that neither the examination fees nor the registration fees will be charged by the Board from the student(s) who have lost both parents or surviving parent or legal guardian/adoptive parents due to COVID-19 pandemic,” read the official notice.

CBSE released a letter saying, "CBSE has communicated to the schools that List of Candidates for Class X & XII Examination 2021-22 will start from 17.09.2021 and continue till 30.09.2021 without late fees and thereafter, till 09.10.2021 with late fees".

Therefore, the schools, while submitting the LOC, will provide the details of these students after verifying the genuineness.
