Central Police Forces ( Assistant Commandants ) Examination 2007
Eligibility: Candidates must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 1st August, 2007.
The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the notice.
Educational Qualifications: Degree of a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. Sex: Both Male & Female candidates are eligible for appointment to CRPF and CISF. However, only Male candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, ITBP and SSB. Physical & Medical Standards.
Candidates must meet the physical and medical standards specified in AppendixVI of the Notice published in the Employment News dated on 05.05.2007 NCC �B� or �C� Certificate Holders: Possession of NCC �B� or �C� certificate will be desirable qualification.
The desirable qualifications will be given consideration at the time of interview/Personality Test only.
Application Procedure: The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices through out the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/-.
Each such form can be used only once and only for one examination. In case of any difficulty in obtaining application forms from the designated HPOs/Pos, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned Post Master or UPSC�s �Form Supply Monitoring Cell� over Telephone No. � 011 � 2338 9336/ Fax No � 011 � 2338 7310.
Examination Fee: The Examination Fee will be Rs.100/- to be paid through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fees. (OBC candidates are required to pay full fee).
All applications must reach the �Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi � 110 069� either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 04th June, 2007.
