JEE Advanced 2019: Exam to be held on 19th May 2019

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced will be held on 19th May 2019 across India. This year, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will conduct the examination JEE Advanced 2019. Since last year, the JEE exam is held in computer-based mode. Candidates can attempt JEE Main exam a maximum of two times in January and in April. JEE Advanced 2019 registration process begins after the declaration of JEE Main result.

There are a total of 23 IITs in the country currently. JEE-Advanced is the gateway to securing admission to any one of the IITs College. An aspirant has to first qualify JEE (Main) exam and figure in the top two lakh candidates to appear for this test.

Exam pattern and schedule

There will be two compulsory papers (paper 1 and paper 2) of 3 hours duration each.

Paper I: 9 am to 12 pm

Paper II: 2 pm to 5 pm
