Delhi govt to pay Class 12 CBSE Exam Fee

Delhi Government has announced that school students will not have to pay any fees to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from next year.

The students will no longer need to pay registration fee Rs 1,500 to the education board said Delhi education Minister Manish Sisodia.

Those students belonging to families annual income below 1 lakh will get 100% scholarship, while 50% of the fees for those with annual income between Rs 1 and 2.5 lakh. Those students with annual income between Rs 2.5 and 6 lakh will get 25% scholarship.

"Access to high-quality education is the right of all children. Education cannot be a matter of charity. The government will pay the exam fee of students. Soon, the government will arrange coaching for the NEET and JEE aspirants," Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said.
