CBSE to make schools principals Model Administrators

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in collaboration with the National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA) will organize training programs for the principals of its affiliated schools to make them ’model administrators’.

In the series of programmes, the training will be organized for principals of independent private schools from 11 to 15 February. These programs are being organized jointly by CBSE and NUEPA for two years now.

"We will discuss planning, institutional building and diagnosis, managerial issues, team building, real life case studies and other related issues that will let them to introspect about the skills which Indian schools will need in future. The most important part is to teach them model management," said head of the Department of Educational Administration, NUEPA, Ms. Najma Akhtar.

CBSE is conducting this program with a motive to acquaint the participants with the emerging issues in school education and also to build their capacity in leadership and other aspects of managerial excellence.

The training program will impart participants the techniques of modern management and how to make linkages and inter-face with the community.

Giving details on this year’s training program Ms. Najma Akhtar said, "This year we are emphasizing on training teachers about how to be a forerunner in all conditions and make an ideal environment for students for learning."
