CBSE receives maximum exam queries from West Bengal

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is receiving maximum number of exam-related queries from West Bengal students on its helpline counseling number. This is despite the fact that in West Bengal the CBSE-affiliated schools are very few.

Says CBSE Chairman Ashok Ganguly, "Through Interactive voice Response System, 1214 calls from West Bengal have been received by the CBSE followed by 1214 calls from Delhi and 1027 calls from Gujarat. We have received minimum number of calls from Rajasthan (36) and Kerala (37)."

It must be noted that since CBSE commenced helpline service on February 1,it has recieved 6,722 calls of students from various parts of the country.
