This institution was established to perpetuate the memory of �Sree Narayana Guru� a great Saint, Philosopher, Social Reformer and above all a poet and
an erudite scholar of the Vedas who preached and practiced the gospel of �Universal Brotherhood� as embodied in his maxim �One caste, one Religion,
one God for man� and also advised the down-trodden to educate and thus liberate themselves from the superstitions and shake less of oppression at the
hands of the caste despots. Inspired by the Guru�s teachings, Sree Narayana followers of Chentrappinni formed a Public Charitable Trust in 1977, which
established S.N. Vidya Bhavan in July 1978 with L.K. G. and U.K G. classes simultaneously.
AIMS & OBJECTS
The sole aim of establishing S.N.Vidya Bhavan is to provide quality education; academic perfection and professional competence to the children of this
backward coastal area who cannot afford even to dream English Medium education, a privilege hitherto available only to the children of city dwellers
and those belonging to the higher strata of society. Our only aim is to prepare rural children of poor and middle class people and thereby equip
themselves to participate successfully in All-India competitive examinations and talent tests. Besides academic excellence physical and health
education is also given due importance and facilities for physical training, games, sports, athletics etc. are also provided in the campus. Today we
feel very prestigious to be recognised as one of the best and leading CBSE School not only in Kerala but also known internationally.
MANAGEMENT
The School is run by a Public Charitable Trust Viz. �Sree Narayana Educational & Cultural Trust (Regd.) Chentrappinni�, which is registered under the
Societies Registration Act; 1860 as well as under section 1 2A of the Income Tax Act, 1961; The Board of management is the Executive Committee of the
Trust which is duly elected at the Annual General Body for a tenure of three years. The General Secretary of the Trust Shri. T.V. Sarangadharan in his
capacity since 1976 till date is the Chief Executive of all affairs of the Trust and S.N. Vidya Bhavan.
