STEM is a curriculum based approach on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines-science, technology, engineering and mathematics- in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. In the current academic session where joyful learning and experiential learning are the motto of CBSE, STEM becomes all the more important because it enables the learners to link rigorous academic concepts with real world lessons. Besides it also develops soft skills that many careers need and so many students lack- skills like communication, problem solving, critical thinking and creativity.
Considering the overwhelming responses received in the STEM workshops conducted in Delhi & NCR in the month of June-July, 2019, CBSE is planning to conduct these workshops in other parts of the country for pan India dissemination of the concept as detailed below:

Note:
1. The participant teachers should preferably be teaching Science /Maths / Computerscience / IT.
2. The participation fee should be in the form of DD in favour of ‘SECRETARY, CBSE’ payable at Chennai (Sr. No.1), Chandigarh (Sr.No.2) and Ajmer (Sr. No.3) respectively.
3. No TA/DA is admissible from CBSE.
