Launch of the ‘Innovation Ambassador Programme’ by CBSE in collaboration with Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE

This is with reference to CBSE Notification No. 40/2021dated 04.05.2021 whereby it was announced that CBSE in collaboration with Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE shall be training 50,000 CBSE teachers as Innovation Ambassadors.

Hon’ble Minister of Edcuaton, Govt. of India has consented to launch the Innovation Ambassador – Online Training Programme for CBSE teachers on 16th July 2021.


The schools can now nominate maximum five teachers for this program. Therefore, all CBSE affiliated schools should nominate five teachers from their school for this program. The training will be provided on first come, first served basis.

CBSE schools can register their teachers for this one-of-a-kind training programme till 10th July 2021 using the link: https://mic.gov.in/sia/

The detailed guidelines and portal user manual and registration process are also available on the above link.


The schools who have already registered their teachers are also required to login at above link with the registered email ID of SPOC (Single Point of Contact). The password has been emailed to the registered email ID of SPOC.

The first batch of the first module of the first Programme, viz. Design Thinking & Innovation, will start from 20th July 2021.
