BMSCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University,Belgaum or VTU in short. The college, which celebrated its diamond jubilee in 2007, is one of the oldest engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka and was the first private engineering college in the country. BMSCE offers undergraduate and graduate programs in several fields of Engineering. The B.M.S. College of Engineering is the best engineering college in the city of Bangalore, India and one of the better known engineering colleges in India.
It is a private engineering college funded partially by the state government of Karnataka. In terms of student population, it is second to none in the state, with a large percentage of students coming from other states of India and also a significant number of international students. It offers the Bachelor’s degree program in more than ten different fields of Engineering and Technology.
It maintains high standard of education and inspite of a high student population, it secures the best result in VTU. (This page is run by the alumni of the college.
