Ans . 3
Sol. nth term, an= 3n + 5
When n = 1, a1 = 3(1) + 5 = 8
When n = 2, a2 = 3(2) + 5 = 11
Common difference, d = a2 – a1 = 11 – 8 = 3

- 5 sec2
= -5(sec2 - 5 tan2 )
=-5 (1) = -5
