CBSE to declare JEE Main 2013 Results today

The scores of the common engineering entrance exam, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2013 conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), are expected to be declared at 4 pm today, 7 May, 2013.

JEE Main 2013 was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in across 81 cities including four cities abroad - Bahrain, Dubai, Riyadh and Muscat.

Students who took the JEE Main Examination said the paper was easy. However the competition that comes with the examination is something that they are worried about.

The JEE is a gateway for students aspiring to seek admissions to Bachelors in Engineering, B.Tech. and Architecture courses at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Delhi Technological University, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).

In 2013, there are 9647 undergraduate seats in 15 IITs, IT-BHU and ISM Dhanbad while the number of undergraduate seats in the 30 NITs of the country is 15678 including the seats in the new ones.
