CBSE to conduct NEET entrance examinations on May 7

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET), 2017 examinations for admissions to MBBS / BDS courses across the country in medical and dental colleges on 7 May 2017. The candidates can submit the online application form through cbseneet.nic.in from January 31 to March 1, 2017. NEET(UG)-2017 will be conducted by the CBSE in 80 cities across the country. The candidate is allowed to appear in the NEET thrice till they are 25 years old. The candidates who have appeared in AIPMT/ NEET on thrice occasions will be counted against the permissible three attempts.

Age limit: The lower age limit of candidates is 17 years and upper age limit has been fixed 25 years on the date of conduct of examination in which reserved category candidates will get a five-year relaxation.

Around 10 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the NEET exam to be held in 1500 examination centres.
