CBSE Released Board Exam Datesheet 2020 for Class 10th & 12th

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the preparations for the upcoming board examinations for class 10 and 12. The board has made a basic date sheet for the CBSE 10th and 12 board exams 2020.

According to the information shared by the board, the board may pre-pone the practical examinations for the class 10th and 12th in December 2019. The CBSE class 10th and 12th main examinations 2020 will begin on 15th February 2020.

The CBSE has also confirmed that the main subject exams will be conducted first before the vocational subject exams from the year 2020.

The chronology of the subjects for the class 10th and 12th board exam will be based on the most number of students appearing for the exam.

In June 2018, the Delhi High Court had called out CBSE regarding the revaluations results of the class 10th and 12 exam which were released after the admission process for Delhi University was ongoing.

The High Court pointed out that the board must complete the whole process of examination before the admissions in various universities begin. The court pointed out that the board is responsible to complete whole process of examination before the admissions in the different universities begin.

Therefore, in 2019, the CBSE had started the class 10 & class 12 board examinations from 15th February to avoid any delay.

If the practical exams are held in December, then the CBSE board may release the class 10th and 12th Board exam 2020 date sheet by the end of November this year.
