CBSE has begun training programme for principals

A training programme on effective school management and leadership for principals of CBSE schools in the state has been initiated at the Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannamally in the city.

The five-day programme is being organised by Centum Training Ltd, in association with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The training session is part of the mandatory training programme for principals, which is conducted by the CBSE towards the accreditation process.

The training programme is being conducted with the aim of equipping the principals with modern management skills to prepare them for more structured and streamlined system in the schools, officials said.

The organisers said that the training programme, which is being attended by CBSE teachers from across the state, will have several sessions for the teachers.
