The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) confirmed that CBSE Board Examinations for class 10th and 12th for 2018 are likely to be conducted in the first week of March not in February. The exam might not start from March 1st due to Holi.
CBSE officials have confirmed they are trying to conduct the exam in shorter time period to give the evaluation process more time.
This year, nearly 1.1 million candidates registered for class 12th examination against 1.067 million last year. The number of centres and schools registered for the Class 12 exam were 3,502 and 10,678, respectively.
