Job Description:

Masters Degree in Architecture with Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university

Desired Candidate Profile
10 to 25 years Teaching or Industry experience. The Professor / Dean of the School of Architecture is responsible for the effective administration of the teaching, scholarship (creative work/research), outreach programs, and outreach/engagement activities in the school.

The Professor / Dean is expected to provide exceptional leadership and overall direction as s/he leads the school into the forefront of architecture, landscape architecture, and planning/design education; work collaboratively with the faculty and staff; effectively and meaningfully engage the architecture, landscape architecture, and planning/design community; and provide leadershipfor the colleges curricularinitiatives, research and scholarship, professional training,and recruitment and retention of high quality faculty, staff and student talent.

The Professor / Dean is also responsible for the colleges strategic planning, program evaluation and development, corporate outreach, alumniengagement, fundraising, enrollment, retention, persistence and completion, market planning, interdisciplinary initiativesineducation and research, and the management of the colleges administrative and financial affairs.

As the chief academic officer of the college, the Dean of the College of Architecture and Planning also appoints department chairs, oversee saccreditation, develops new curricula and programs, and strengthens external relationships. S/he must be able to establishbeneficial fundraising relationshipswith alumni donors and friends, industry partners, the architecture, landscape architecture, and planning/design community, government agencies, and the colleges various constituents.
