Theme 2019: Exploring Our Planet
Our planet Earth has the privilege of being the only planet habituated by beautiful and diverse forms of wildlife. We must assume responsibility for wildlife conservation and make efforts to encourage our present generation to seek solutions through education.
The Wild Wisdom Quiz provides an opportunity and platform to bring students closer to nature and spark a passion in them for nature conservation. The quiz is an ideal platform to reach out to young minds and inculcate a sense of biodiversity conservation amongst them. This year the theme for the quiz is Exploring Our Planet focusing on the planet’s most diverse biomes and the species thriving in them.
All participating students will be able to:
Register free on WWF-India’s One Planet Academy (https://academy.wwfindia.org/), and access engaging environment education resources aligned to the school curriculum and prepare for the quiz.
Receive E-newsletter called ‘Wisdom Nuggets’ that offers summer holiday projects, online practice quizzes and lots more to build your environment quotient and prep up for the quiz.
Get invites for participation in One Planet Academy’s Annual conferences for teachers and students.*
Receive a participation certificate.
The quiz is open to the following:
Primary School: Classes (3-5), Middle School: Classes (6-8) and Senior
The timeline of the Wild Wisdom Quiz is as follows:
Level Primary and Middle School:
a). School Level Quiz (01 July – 15 September 2019)
b). State Level Quiz (October 2019)
Middle School:
a). National and International Finale (19th and 20th November 2019)
Senior School (Online Quiz):
a). Phase 1 - (11th October 2019)
b). Phase 2 - (14th October 2019)
c). Phase 3 (Finale) – (15th October)
